Justin is a military veteran & strength Coach dedicated to helping others build elite level General Physical Preparedness. After Serving in the military he went on to earn his Masters Degree In Exercise Science and the CSCS. He has helped a wide variety of athletes reach their fitness Goals.

  • A tactical athlete is an individual, such as a soldier, police officer, or firefighter, whose profession requires optimal physical performance in high-stakes situations. Their training focuses on job-specific "mission fitness," including strength, endurance, and injury prevention.

  • While both build fitness, a tactical exercise routine is specifically designed to improve performance in operational tasks. It goes beyond aesthetics to focus on functional strength, load-bearing capacity, agility, and the endurance needed for unpredictable, high-stress environments.

  • All Dark Horse Athlete programs are designed by Justin Biays, a military veteran and Strength Coach with a Master's Degree in Exercise Science and a CSCS certification. His expertise ensures every tactical athlete training program is safe, effective, and mission-focused.
